Because eggs are not released progesterone levels will be too low and estrogen and androgen level become too high which causes irregularity in menstrual cycle. If you lose about 10 percent of body weigh which will help in decreasing insulin level and there by helps in ovulation. So worsening of your symptoms can be due to weight gain after pregnancy.
