Hello doctor, I am 45 yrs, I am getting periods once in 4 months since 1/5 yrs. the bleeding is light and last over 15 days. i had blood clot in the brain in 2016 jan and i am taking medicines for that. In feb 2017 I took test for uterus and it found normal.
Hi I think you should do a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. It can be due to some thyroid disorder or polycystic ovarian syndrome. You may need some treatment. Hope it helps.
