General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely it is the hormonal disbalances that is causing you to have irregular periods. You can try to take some oral contraceptive pills daily for 3-6 months to help your periods be regular.

If your periods continue to be irregular after stopping oral contraceptives than you will need a check of your hormones (estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, prolactin, TSH, etc).

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
