What Causes Irregular Periods?

I am a female, turning 18 in 2 days. I first got my period when I was 12. NEVER has my period been regular. I would always get them different months apart. As well as never getting cramps and such. Then, the periods would stop. I couldn t even remember the last time I had one. I know it was more than a year ago, the last time I had one. Maybe even two. Now, I am 5 5 210. Chubby, yes. But I have a feeling this isn t because of my weight. I just need answers . Because I m lost and worried about myself .

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the menses have been started little early then it may stops later on for some time, but such condition need to be investigated and it can not be taken as granted because some endocrine dysfunction may be the cause, in my opinion you have to see the gynaecologist, hope this information helps, take care.
