What Causes Irregular Periods Along With Intermittent Vaginal Bleeding?
Hello. I am 38 years old. Recently my periods have been very irregular, and it is worrying me. My last period was on the 6th of December. It lasted till 11th. Then I was clean for two days, and then I bled on Monday i.e. 14th again. On 15th, it was clear, and bled on 16th again. I am clear since 17th. Could you please help me and tell me what this means?

Irregular and prolonged bleeding could be secondary to hormonal imbalance, fibroids or adenomyosis of the uterus.I advice you to get ultrasound scan done .you may require treatment with hormones for few cycles to regularise your periods.
