What Causes Irregular Menstruation Upon Ceasing Depo Shots?

About five years ago I was put on the Depo shot for 9 months I got a shot every 3 months after that I stopped receiving the shots and since then I only get my period every 8 months butt in the last two weeks I have been on my period and it hasn t started to decrease. I have been having unprotected sex with my fiance butt I haven t been able to get pregnant I don t know what to do is there something wrong with me?

After stopping depo its normally take one year to get normal periods again.On the other hand when u getting depo its normal thing u can get some abnormal bleedig.you might have to wait some more time for get normal menstruation
