What Causes Irregular Heart Flutters During Extreme Cold Weather In Minor Thalasemia Patient?

I have been having irregular heart flutters or beats the past week throughout the day. I have been away from home in extreme cold weather and have minor thalasemia. I also have some acid reflux. I am starting to panic as the flutter seems o be getting worse every day. I am back home on Friday to see my GP. Can you give me any ideas of what to do whilst I'm away?? Or what this is? Thank you

Hi,

Consult a cardiologist and get serial ECG monitoring to rule out rhythm anomalies. Thalassemia does not have any direct relation with hear disease.

Hope I have answered your query.
