What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pain In The Middle Of The Ribs?
For about one month I ve been experiencing sharpness of pain located in the middle of my ribs. The pain is not constant - it comes and goes away. When I first noticed it it was more like pain associated with indigestion, but it has worsened and become very sharp pains.

hi ,i appreciate your concern.sharp shooting pains in intercostal muscles seems to be neuralgic in nature.it is probably due to some inflamation at dorsal spine joints, and also due to muscle spasm at back inter scapular region.get your self checked for calcium profile,bad postures while working,and vit b12,vitD.by your family doctor.since u have h/o indigestion,these difficiency may affect u. thanks. i wil be happy to take any further query.l
