What Causes Intermittent Pain In Shoulder, Armpit And Neck?

I have had pain in my left shoulder on and off for 3 to 4 years. Sometimes it hurts in my left arm, armpit, neck and above my left breast. I used to hd a phone between my neck and shoulder but can no longer do this as it is too painful. Recent it appears my left breast is slightly larger than my right. Ibuprofen helps but does not cure the problem. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to cervical radiculopathy or a pinched nerve.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
I also suggest to maintain a shoulder brace for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
