What Causes Intermittent Pain In Left Upper Chest?

All day today, I have been having intermittent pain in my left upper chest, just under the collarbone. I am experiencing a brief spasm of pain, lasting no more than 2-3 seconds, then it goes away, only to return in 5-10 minutes. One spasm, then nothing, then another spasm. Stress related? ( it wasn t that stressful of a day) I am not short of breath, dizzy or nauseous. Just worried. Should I go to the ER...I have bad health insurance and an ER visit is going to be expensive. Would love your thoughts and thank you. Sara A.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, two possibilities are very likely one is hyperacidity and second it could be muscular spasm and some time these both could cause the symptoms too, it can be well managed with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day, and Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" sustain release once in day, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
