What Causes Intermittent Pain In Chest And Upper Back?
I m a 30 year old female, I went to the emergency room last night and had blood work done and an ekg. The dr said my blood work was normal but my ekg was slightly abnormal. I m hurting on and off in my upper back and and chest. I m scared I m having a heart attack!
As per your query you have pain in chest and upper back . Well as your have intermittent pain in chest and upper back, sometimes this may lead to spasm of trapezius or injury to related ligament due tilting of heavy load on one side . poor posture is also one of the reason for such kind of pain . the probable reasons for chest pain are compressed fracture or nerve impingement due to heavy weight . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination and rule out causes related to heart . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , calcium supplement , anti inflammatory or recommend you for stretching and physical therapy . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist , because in some cases the symptoms can also occur due to condition like angina .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
