What Causes Intermittent Lower Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With Uterine Fibroid?

Hi I am Audrey, I have been experiencing lower abdominal pains that come on and off lasting abt 30mins to 1hr for over 2wks. some times its feels like menstral cramps other time its comes with a stabbing pain in the lower left side. what can be responsible. I was diagnosed with a fibroid for 4yrs now and wondering if it could be responsible even though I have had symptoms.

Hi,
Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here

Obviously Your symptoms may be related to a Uterine Fibroid as these uterine growths can cause Pressure on the bladder or rectum ,Frequent urination ,Constipation and/or rectal pain ,Lower back and/or abdominal pain and abnormal uterine bleeding
however not all symptoms may present together but any of these symptoms if present is enough to ensure a medical examination with a professional gynecologist

there are variety of other medical conditions which may also be responsible including intestinal colics , ovaries disorders likes Polycystic ovaries etc , and it needs thorough medical check up and investigations to spot a confirm diagnosis

i would strongly suggest you to see Your Gynecologist , he/She may go for all necessary medical investigations to rule out any underlying medical condition

I hope it help
