General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Vaginal spotting could be because of various reasons starting from an intermittent menstruation, an infection, trauma or any growth in the vagina or uterus. It is very difficult to pinpoint at the actual cause with the information provided by you. I would advise you to visit a gynecologist and get yourself examined physically to arrive at a diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
