What Causes Intermittent Hives On The Body?
My son breaks out in rash/hives . He done this about 1 year ago and maybe a couple of times since then. It lasts about a week even with benadryl every 6 hours. It will go away, then come back after the meds wear off. After about a week, the symptoms go away. And no, there has been nothing any differant than normal food wise or detergent wise either.

As a first line management you can take antihistamines like cetrezine for symptomatic relief.
If lesion persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
