Hi,

Understanding your concern. As per your query, your child has symptoms of intermittent cough which could be due to a chest infection. It seems immunity of the child is getting impaired. I would suggest you visit pediatrician once and get it examined by x-ray chest.

Start treatment after proper examination. You can go for swab and sputum test. Start treatment after a proper diagnosis is made out. Till then take a proper course of antibiotics to you. Take steam inhalation. Avoid intake of cold beverages and outside food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
