Hello,

I can understand your concern. Aphasia as you are describing is a very rare finding in multiple sclerosis cases. Even though it is due to multiple sclerosis, there is no cure for it except making little changes in conversations styles with family members.

However, I would advise you not to take this problem as associated with multiple sclerosis and get an appointment with a neurologist for the examination and further investigations. If it is not associated with any other disorder, then only multiple sclerosis can be considered as a reason.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for trusting HCM with your concern. I wish your wife feels better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
