What Causes Intermittent Abdomen Pain In A 7 Year Old?

My daughter has had intermittent abdominal pain over the last year. She is 7 1/2 at this time. We have had every GI workup possible by several doctors. All labs were normal. She s gotten admitted to the hospital twice now. The only thing that helps is to roll in fetal position. We have tried diet changes such as no lactose, etc, to no avail. I am wondering if it is possible that she could be having GYN issues instead. What if she is actually getting menstrual cramps and since she is only 7, it never occurred to us to get that checked out?

Hi,

The most common of abdomen pain is constipation, and there are kids that are contipated and goes to the bathroom all day, other did you read about irritable bowel? Another good diagnostic as abdominal migraine is. To be clear about GYN issues ask for a hormone dosage. Hope this helps you.
