What Causes Intermenstrual Bleeding After Discontinuing Birth Control Pills?

Hi im 34yrs old.i take a contrcp pills last tym i take pills,is june 18 then i had my monthly period on june 21,22 and 23 but i never take my pill bec i dont need that my husbnd go back to work in abroad so i deside to stop taking pills,my monthly period stop june 24 then we have intercourse june 28.then i have my monthly period in july6.my question is is it normal to have monthly period again after a week or i am pregnant?tnx...

Hello welcome to HCM. You have been on external hormonal support through out the month with the help of these pills. Once it is removed to come back to normal duration between periods it takes two to three months.I am doubtful you are not pregnant. I hope i cleared your doubts. Take care.
