My menstrual cycle is pretty regular but this month my periods have come backs around 10 days after the end of my last period. I have been under a it if stress due to family bereavement and return to work. I have also Been taking flucanzole for persistent thrush. I'm on a six month, weekly dosage to try and keep the infection in check. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Bleeding between period called metrorrhagia.
I think it is due to the excessive stress and vaginal thrush.
But if it will occur repetitively then it could be: cervicitis, cervix and endometrial dyspalsia, endometritis, vaginitis, adenomyosis, fibroid, endometrial/vaginal polyp, PCOS, hormonal imbalance.
Consult the gynecologist and undergo following investigations:
reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, endometrial biopsy, ovarian follicle study, PAP smear, colposcopy.
Specific Treatment will depend on the cause.
But now just avoid stress, take healthy diet and drink plenty of water, do regular excercise like walking and yoga.
Miantain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash
Hope this may help you
