Hi im having periods twice in a month...this is happenning to me from last three months.. The cycle is usually 28 days until last year.it altered to 2-3days after i took an i pill. I have nt been into intercourse or taking any contraceptive since then..i have very early periods vit only 16-18days cycle since three months..please help.

Hi, Thanks for the query. I undrstand your concern. Frequent menstruation is seen as a side effect of some( eg:Levonorgestrel)emmergency cintraceptives.... due to hormonal imbalance it causes. You seem to have the same. Mostly it gets normal within a period of few months. Please wait for natural correction for a couple of months... if not normal within the time....you need to consult a gynecoligist for specific treatment (after evaluating different causes of such complaint) Thanks.
