Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Ovarian cyst can cause slight disturbances on your menstrual cycle because of its alterations in the hormonal balance. Generally the abnormal bleeding and irregular cycles will settle in couple of months even without treatment. If the cycles are very much irregular you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated, you might require drugs like estrogen pills to make your periods regular.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
