My wife is 52, 5'-6", 195 lbs, has been in menopause for the past two years. She woke up at 12:15 with intense abdominal pain, diarrhea and nausea, is sweating profusely and has a temp of 91 degrees, pulse is between 56 and 60 bpm. Her tongue appears normal, not coated white. Have had similar foods in the last thirty hours. She chews ice continually all day for months now. What might be causing the current symptoms and should I be concerned this is an emergency?
