What Causes Insomnia While On Hydralazine?

I began taking Hydralazine 25 mg tabs twice a day last night. I have now taken three. I am unable to fall asleep again tonight. I feel hyper (shaky) and like my heart is racing. I also have tingling in my extremities. Are these common side effects when a person first starts taking this medication?

Hello I just read your query and from what you have mentioned it appears that you are experiencing the side effects of hydralazine like palpitations , tingling, numbness and insomnia etc.
It is common to see these side effects and they usually wear off after some time.
