Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your query, you have problem of inner ear discomfort and dryness in back of throat. Well, the symptoms you mentioned in your query are pointing towards a condition known as eustachian tube dysfunction.

Take steam twice a day and drink glass of warm water with one spoon honey and ginger extract. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis. Doctor may order throat swab test, viral culture test and blood test to rule out condition like inner ear infection and throat muscle spasm.

Doctor may prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin or penicillin), decongestants or mucolytic agent along with anti-inflammatory. For now, do warm saline gargles, take steam and apply warm dry compresses to external ear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
