What Causes Inflammation On The Face While Suffering From Autoimmune Disorders?

I have several Autoimmune disorders but the one no one seems to explain is the red burning areas on my face. Usually on my chin and both sides of my nose. They first appear as white painful spots. After a day maybe the skin over these spots dry, when I wash my face these places will come off and bleed. Inside the open sore are one to several tiny white spots. They are not infected, if anything comes out of the small bumps it is similar to the white substance that will come out of the popes of your nose. Like if you bump your nose too hard and the white strings are coming out of the pores. These places do not itch and I have had some of these places for more than a year. Have you ever heard of this?

Hi,

It can be the case of Lupus Erthematosis which has a typical clinical appearance in the form of rash on face involving both sides of the nose and malar bones. Though you have not sent photograph but seems it will be a typical butterfly type.

This disease is an autoimmune disorder which can effect any organ like skin, joints, heart, kidney, etc. However to confirm this disease you need to have clinical examination and blood tests.

You are requested to send your facial photograph and let me know if you further any case history. If you can't send details I suggest you please get yourself checked by a physician so that it can be addressed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
