What Causes Inflammation Around The Navel?

Hi doctor Grief, I have an inflammation near my navel (left side), it is not big but when I compare to the right side i can conceive it. I am male, and I am 26 years old. It has been appeared for less than a year and during winter some hours of day I had abdominal pain in the left side (toward down). I dont know it had related to it or not and what is the possibility? I also have had no inflammation and no pain since 5 months ago but today I started again.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having mild eczema around navel.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesion twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
