What Causes Inflammation And Itching On The Face And Arms?
my husband who is over 65 suddenly appeared flushed in the face, arms bright red and itchy. He wasn t doing anything at the time. This happened about 6 weeks ago also in the middle of the night. I had him take Benedryl today however though not itchy his arms are still bright red, as is his face and neck.

Benadryl, though useful, may not always be effective. Icing the area, drinking lots of water, using calamine lotion, and keeping the skin dry may be useful.
