What Causes Inferior Infarct In Person With High Cholesterol?

I have an EKC which shows an inferior infarct, echocardiogram came back negative but chemical stress test was normal. Don t return to the cardiologist for several weeks. Blood pressure is ok, not diabetic, and successfully treating prior high cholesterol. I m a male, 60, quit smoking 15 years ago, and overweight but not obese. What might be the cause of these symptoms?

hi
you have so many factors, like obesity, increased cholesterol, inferior infarct, all are related to your cardiac condition.

echo-cardiography showing negative & chemical stress normal is a good sign.

it is better to start on anti-platelets, anti-hypertensives, anti-cholesterols,with regular check up with your cardiologist.

if possible you can go for an angiogram to rule out for any specific ischaemia / block or microvascular changes.

please avoid oily, salty & heavy meals,& stress.
all the best.
take care.
