What Causes Indigestion Along With Constipation And Gastritis?

I am having an old problem back. I have time and again indigestion problem with constipation, acidity and gas. The side effect I get is light headedness. I was given Omneprazole 20 mg a day. It worked well. But recently I found my blood pressure shot up. I never had that much blood pressure. I therefore stopped Omneprazole. Question is why the light headedness appears with gas and can Omneprazole cause high blood pressure?d

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Omeprazole is not causing headedness nor high blood pressure (bp).
Should look for other possible causes including:
- hereditary
- stress
- overload in caffeinated drinks, alcohol
- cardiovascular problems.

Should see cardiologist to run further cardiac tests (ECG, echocardiogram, stress test) to rule out cardiovascular problems.

Complete blood count, lipid profile testing are recommended to run further.
Meanwhile, monitor your bp, record the results for future reference.
