What Causes Increased Heart Rate After Taking Propranolol For Arrhythmia?
Hi I suffer from arrythmia my heart beats too fast sometimes I take propranolol for this my I ve had my medication today however my heart feels as if it is racing..I did the beats per 15 seconds and it s coming up at 116 beats per minute is this normal as I am Sat up in bed resting and have taken my tablets ? Thank you
Having beats 116 bpm means that you have tachycardia despite treatment. You probably have to charge the medications or just increase their dosage in order to stabilise them better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
