What Causes Increase In Alkaline Phosphatase/sgpt When On Breast Cancer Treatment?
My mom having breast cancer at stage IV since last year her mastactomy was carried out . she is on Femara (Oral Drug Theraphy) since last 3 year . recently in her blood test she got increase alkaline phosphatase & SGPT. tell me what the causes due to which these level increase in blood .

Alkaline phosphatase can arise due to bone resorption or mild liver damage caused by drugs. it is to be ruled out what kind of alkaline phosphatase is it. Accordingly the treatment can be suggested.
