What Causes Hypersomnia And Lack Of Interest In Life While Recovering From Despression?

I am recovering from depression and am doing well except for symptoms of low dopamine. I take seroquil 25 mg, Prozac 40mg, venlafaxine 300mg, trazodone 50mg, and clonazepam 1 mg, 2 times a day. I sleep excessively, have no interest or motivation in doing things that used to bring me pleasure. Based on all the symptoms of depression, I only have these few. With research, they are the exact symptoms of low dopamine, but there was no mention of a medication that increases dopamine. Any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Try stopping with the clonazepam - but do so in a controlled fashion and with your own doctor on the sideline to avoid symptoms of withdrawal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
