What Causes Hypersomina And Depression In A CHF Patient?

My husband had chf ejection fracture @13% last year. All he wants to do is lay around and sleep. He does still smoke cigarettes some. Could the sleeping and grumpy ness be from depression or the chf? Is there anything I can do as a wife to help him? He was dignosed with it in 2010 @45% then in 2014 it was @20% and then again in 2015 @13% he has a defibulator as well no pacemaker. What is life expection?
