What Causes Hot Flashes?

Other than menopause what are other reasons for hot flashes. face gets flush and then I start sweating around hairline. sometimes my cheeks get very iitchy when they turn red. wake up through the night with problem as well as having problem periodically during day. it occurs no matter if I am sitting or standing.

Hello Dear. Thyroid disorder, mainly hyperthyroidism is the main cause of hot flushes other than menopause. Kindly check your thyroid hormone levels. A blood test to detect thyroid profile should be done.
