What Causes Hot Flashes When Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism?
I took my temperature and it is 96.4, but I am having a hot flash. Is this normal? I was diagnosed a month ago with Hashimoto s Hypothyroidism. I am 49 and have had hypothyroidism since age of 9 and have been taking thyroid medicine ever since. Should I be concerned enough to go to the emergency room?

Hot flashes may be due to post menopause or hormonal imbalance or infection etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. hypothyroidism may be wont cause above symptoms. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
