What Causes Hot Flashes After Taking Lipitor?

After taking Lipitor for a month I developed intense hot flashes and depression. At times I feel lightheaded and in the heat of summer I almost had a heat strike. I urinate often but have been drinking large quantities of water. I gave up caffeine and alcohol but this has not helped. Could the Lipitor have caused these symptoms?

I really appreciate your concern, what the symptoms you have given here may not be due to the medicine "Lipitor" but it could be due to some functional elements some time it may be due to age and gender like menopause and such information of age and gender is not given here and hope this information helps.
