What Causes Horizontal Lines With Indentation On Thighs?

I suddenly just noticed multiple dark 2-3 inch horizontal lines on my thighs that when you touch feel like small dents and the skin when pulled apart still appears darkened and with a slight crease as if a rope was recently binding them. I have 5 on the front of my left thigh and four on my outside right thigh. I m 34 and athletic and continue to exercise a few time a week. I have been sitting all day touching nothing so this is really odd.

HI
Well come to HCM
The symptom could be nonspecific and may be because of the continues sitting position, continues compression may cause such skin marks, if this would be the reason for this then this would go away on its own, if this remains there for a long time or increases in numbers and appearance then clinical examination is must, hope this helps.
