Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I hear a high pitched frequency like when those old tube televisions used to turn on and warm up. It is pretty much non-stop, too !!! I can barely sleep or concentrate . I really need some help because i have done research and only a few things help but i live in a state where i can t get the medication that helps.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of high pitched sound in ear which could be due to blockage of sinuses, ear wax accumulation and ear infection as well. Stress and anxiety and problem related to disc present in TMJ are other contributing factors.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon first for proper evaluation of TMJ and may order CT scan and MRI for proper examination. You should visit ENT specialist once and get complete examination done by otoscope. You should start with antibiotics course along with anti inflammatory medication after proper prescription. Avoid putting pressure on ear using excessive mobile and avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
