ar old has audible stridor and losing ability to speak clearly. Respiratory rate of 36 breaths per minute, maximal use of accessory muscles and oxygen saturation of 90% despite supplemental oxygen at 10 litres per minute. His heart rate is 132 and skin is pale, cool and moist. The pathophysiological changes that are occurring in this client and why his oxygen saturation is 90%? Why would he need immediate treatment? Why the heart rate has increased in relation to the fall in oxygen saturation
