Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query high fever and swollen glands in a child could be due to enteric fever or typhoid, viral infection or infectious mononucleosis. I would suggest you to keep his temperature under control by using Ibuprofen or Paracetamol every 4-6 h. You should do tepid sponging to lower down the temperature. You should avoid dehydration by giving him plenty of fluids. I suggest to consult a pediatrician as soon as possible to find the right cause of this. You should get blood test done. You should give anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine to child. Give him diet rich in vitamin B12.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
