husband age 66 suddenly gets feverish, body chills, red as a beet and and can t warm up Needs several blankets. checked his sugar during the episode and it is a little low between 79 and 89 His normal sugar is 94. checked his temperature and it was 102. This has occurred several times but not frequently. Once every two or three months. His check up is always good. Suffers from asthma. Is on predisone 5mg. a day. Never comes off of it. Also has to do heavy inhalers. Am wondering if he is having reactions to medication. This week the eposide occurred twice. Refused to go to ER. Wanted to rest. When it happens it takes several hours to get back to normal.
