What Causes High Body Temperature And Lightheadedness Post Thyroidectomy?
I have had a total thyroidectomy and take Armour thyroid & cytomel. Since the surgery (about 6-7 years ago), I do not tolerate high temperatures in weather well & feel lightheaded at times and get warmer than most people. I have other side effects but this is the most bothersome. Is this a result of having had a total thyroidectomy?

I think this can be the results of taking too much armour thyroid. Having total thyroidectomy means that you don't produce thyroid hormones but take them orally. I think you are taking more than needed.
