What Causes High Blood Pressure After Taking Oxycodone?

I ve been taking Oxycodone for 1 month. 5 mg one time a day. My blood pressure is very high and it wasn t before. I take Atenolol 25 mg twice a day and Losartan 25 mg once a day. My pressure had been running very normal and now it is 160/105. Is the oxycodone causing the increase?

Hello,

It is not related to oxycodone. You can take additional antihypertensives like amlodipine or telmisartan for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
