What Causes High Blood Glucose Level Despite Taking Medication?

I have type 11 diabetes and have been eating 1 cucumber, spinach, lettuce, celery, two boiled eggs with fresh lemon juice for dinner and hot oatmeal with equal for breakfast and at least 3 cups of coffee. I walk on the treadmill for twenty minutes a day. I test my blood 3 times a day and have an average of 235 readings for the last three weeks. Can t seem to get it down. I don t eat anything else and I m really tired of what my meals consist of. What else can I do? I take Januvia, Metformin and Pioglitazone to treat my diabetes

Hi.I went through your question and can understand your concern. Despite using medication and lifestyle changes blood sugar level of 235,is still high.It seems that dosage prescribed is not sufficient and need to be increased as well as the combination of drugs which you are taking is not working efficiently.I suggest you to meet your physician for this concern. He may prescribe you injectable form drugs.you need not to worry and get it checked timely.thanks and regards.
