hi, i had sexual contact 9 months ago. the sexual act itself was protected but i had blow job. the problem is that i was newly arriving to west africa and then i started to have many symptoms all over my stay. i came back 1 month ago and had tsh test that was 6.0995 microU/ml but my microsomal antibodies thyroid was 0.04.

Hello,
Good day,
You have not explained exactly what symptoms you experienced during your stay in west africa. The TSH is slightly high and not significant enough to cause major symptoms. Hence i presume the TSH elevation is not responsible for your symptoms. Anti microsomal antibodies are negative and that tells that your TSH elevation is not due to aut immune disease.

Since you had sexual contact 9 months ago , it is better to check HIV, HbsAG and Anti HCV status to rule out these dsieases. They are simple blood tests

Binu
