What Causes Hectic Fever, Night Sweats And Unquenchable Thirst?
Hi, I have had an infection possibly on chest or viral but my cough is lightening now. This started 3 and a half weeks ago. I am very tired, have a hectic fever every day, chills, night sweats, hot flushes, dizzy spells, unquenchable thirst and my teeth have been hurting. Not one specific tooth just them all in general? I have wen to see my gp and was given anti biotics which I finished a week ago. But I think there's something else from the viral/ chest infection going on. Can you offer any advice please?

As you describe, it appears to be a bacterial infection, or eosinophelia, or a chronic infection like tuberculosis.
If you go in correct way, you can have relief in no time. I advise you to consult a chest physician for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine, citrizine, paracetamol, diethylcarbamazinecitrate till the diagnosis is established.
