What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding And Vaginal Odor During Menopause?

I am fifty years old and going through menopause, I haven t had a period in over a year. I did start bleeding heavily for about four days a month ago and then had spotting a few weeks after that. I ve gone to my gynecologist and had an ultrasound and everything looks fine. However, a few days ago I noticed I had a white colored discharge and have an odor. I ve never had a yeast infection before. Should I try something over the counter?

I really appreciate your concern, such irregular bleeding is very likely in menopause and this is nothing to worry but it should not be long last and could cause any other symptoms, just be patience it would be fine, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
