What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hi, I was wondering if it s normal to bleed the second time you have sex? I lost my virginity four days before and there was a good amount of blood during and light spotting for two days after. While I was properly lubricated, he s pretty large and we did have some trouble getting it in. The second time we may have gone a little fast, and when he put his penis in, I felt pressure and then blood was dripping down my leg all over the floor. is this normal? Did I just tear my Hymen or should I see my gyno?

Hi my dear,

I am sorry for the problems you are facing.

Some women might face bleeding when having sex for the first time, especially if the partner does not wait you to get en enough aroused (reach your orgasm) ready for penetration. He is enjoying his part, but you are suffering blood.

As the amount of blood is considerable from what you are saying, I highly recommend to see a gyno to see if there is any more serious problem going on.

Hi, I think the possibility of tearing of hymen is more likely in your case. Observe for 1 to 2 days. If bleeding persists, consult a gynecologist. You may need some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If it stops, then it is fine. Hope it helps.
