What Causes Heavy Menstruation And Nausea After A Miscarriage?

hello, i just had an early miscarriage a month ago and i think i got my period today. I had sex a week ago but i took the day after pill 28-30 hours later. I had pms symptoms for 6 days and then i started spotting with CM. The next day (today) i started bleeding but i only bleed heavily when i use the restroom, my pad is hardly effected. I feel very nauseous, hungry, tired, and i have this metallic taste in my mouth. Is this normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

A a physician I want to comfort you that all the symptoms you are describing are ones which are observed after consuming Morning after Pills (Emergency Contraceptive Pills).

The bleeding will stop soon and you will observe that these symptoms will go away and your condition will better day by day. If bleeding does not stop or you continue to bleed even after some more days, I would recommend that you make a visit to your Gynecologist.

I also want to elaborate to you that you should use Morning after pills only in case of utter emergency as they contain high dosages of hormones which may affect your cycles and body. Use other forms of contraceptives like Oral Contraceptive Pills (OCPs) or condoms instead.

Thanks for Trusting & Posting your Query on this forum.
Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question.
Have a nice Day.

Regards,
Dr.Abhijeet
