I had stopped my periods in oil had stopped my periods in October, but started again about 4 weeks ago when I was stressed about my dad being diagnosed with non-op leukemia. I even had hot flashes that stopped. He passed 2 weeks ago..... I now have had very heavy clotting period with some days nothing at all. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I strongly understand your concern as there's notable family history of serious health issues. If you had mentioned your age it would have been easy to answer the question.

From your question, you seem to be in menopausal age. Note that some sorts of disturbance are common during periods before menopause. But any sort of disturbance may be an alarm for immediate attention to rule out malignancy if happens in the postmenopausal state. I strongly suggest you to consult with a Gynecologist at earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
